A client approached us whose business, over many years of successful operation, has grown to impressive proportions. The scattered structure of assets has turned into a monster, devouring time and energy. We devised a solution that would allow consolidating all assets under a single umbrella, thereby providing reliable protection of the client's holdings and optimizing the tax burden. The solution chosen was the registration of a holding company.
The client, as he wanted, expanded his business and increased income by providing citizens of different countries with services for issuing and transferring electronic money, issuing payment cards and other financial transactions.
The client collaborated with a partner, a resident of China, who after a while stole 8,000,000 USD from the company and left a lot of debt obligations. The client was sued, lost the case and had to pay all costs under the contract. As a result, the account was closed, a new one could not be opened, and reputational damage was caused to the client’s company in China.
